TRAVEL + LEISURE CO. WELCOMES OWNERS AND GUESTS TO SPORTS ILLUSTRATED RESORTS NASHVILLE FOLLOWING MAJOR RENOVATION

The 185-suite Music Row resort supports more than 75 jobs, adding to the city’s growing tourism and hospitality economy

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 1, 2026)Travel + Leisure Co. (NYSE:TNL), a leading leisure travel company, today announced that Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville is now welcoming owners and guests following a full renovation and rebrand of the property. Located on Music Row, the 185-unit resort adds to Nashville’s growing tourism and hospitality economy and supports more than 75 jobs.

The opening marks the debut of the first fully branded Sports Illustrated Resorts destination and brings a new sports-inspired experience to Nashville. Designed to connect travelers with the city’s sports, entertainment and cultural offerings, the resort provides a home base for visitors looking to experience Music City while enjoying premium accommodations and amenities.

“Sports have a unique ability to bring people together, creating shared experiences and lasting memories both on and off the field,” said Geoff Richards, chief operating officer at Travel + Leisure Co. “Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville captures that spirit by creating a destination where guests can connect with the energy of competition, storytelling and community while experiencing everything that makes Nashville such a special place to visit.”

A Growing Sports Destination

Nashville’s evolution as a sports destination provides a natural backdrop for the arrival of Sports Illustrated Resorts. Sporting events supported by the Nashville Sports Council have generated more than $1.5 billion in total economic impact, along with nearly 1.2 million hotel room nights and more than 5.5 million spectators.

Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville puts guests close to that activity, with its Music Row location just one mile from downtown and the Gulch and within easy reach of Nashville’s professional and collegiate sporting events, live music venues and entertainment offerings.

Built for Sports Fans

Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville offers 185 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. Each suite features a full kitchen and in-unit laundry, providing comfort and convenience for guests visiting Nashville for a family vacation, sporting event or weekend getaway.

Following its extensive renovation, the property features refreshed accommodations and upgraded amenities, including an SI Fit gym, sports bar, game room and pool deck designed for gameday activities and events.

The resort also introduces signature Sports Illustrated Resorts features designed to bring fans together, including dynamic social spaces, lifestyle offerings inspired by sports and entertainment, and an on-site sports concierge providing access to local games, events and destination experiences throughout Nashville.

The resort supports a local hospitality workforce of approximately 50–60 full-time employees across resort operations, sales and marketing, with additional positions supported through third-party hospitality partners, including housekeeping and the on-site restaurant.

A final phase of construction is underway, with additional signature features, including a branded valet porte-cochère experience and expanded tailgate deck, expected to be completed in the coming months. An official opening celebration is expected in November 2026.

Bringing Sports Illustrated to Nashville

Rooted in over 70 years of Sports Illustrated storytelling, the resort reflects the brand’s celebration of athletic achievement, competitive spirit and fan connection while embracing Nashville’s distinct personality and culture.

Across the Sports Illustrated Resorts portfolio, properties incorporate custom design details, curated Sports Illustrated content and destination partnerships tailored to each location.

The addition of Nashville reinforces Travel + Leisure Co.’s multi-brand strategy to expand its portfolio and deliver differentiated vacation offerings across a range of travel preferences. It also advances the vision of Sports Illustrated Resorts to create destinations that connect fans with the sports, teams and experiences they love — whether they are traveling to follow their favorite teams or revisiting places tied to memorable moments.

Additional Sports Illustrated Resorts locations include Chicago, which is currently operating in its “preseason era,” with project completion and the full brand offering expected in early 2027; Baton Rouge, with a planned phased opening later in 2027; and Tuscaloosa, where the brand’s first ground-up resort is expected to be completed in 2028.

Sports Illustrated Resorts is operated by Travel + Leisure Co. under a license from Authentic Brands Group.
